Spectators: 8483 (Terracing: 6364, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Borer kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giacomo Hecht came free, but Jonas Lütolf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Francisco Borer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Lütolf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Francisco Borer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Lütolf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Dinamo ST Gallen's Claude Eglin got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 22 played minutes AG.S. Rhäzüns FC got a freekick which was hit by Georges Wermelinger. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Borer in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Lütolf saved AG.S. Rhäzüns FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Francisco Borer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo ST Gallen's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Borer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Lütolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georges Wermelinger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cäsar Daecher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Jonas Lütolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Borer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Theo Netzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo ST Gallen's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Netzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Lütolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Borer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Lütolf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Netzer in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidonius Eisenhauer during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Sidonius Eisenhauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes AG.S. Rhäzüns FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Tinner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidonius Eisenhauer made a kick off. Francisco Borer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Dinamo ST Gallen fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Dinamo ST Gallen's Francisco Borer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Francisco Borer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Lütolf made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Francisco Borer sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Theo Netzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo ST Gallen's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Netzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Lütolf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Dinamo ST Gallen getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Theo Netzer hit a great ball. Francisco Borer might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Lütolf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Borer ran back to his position shaking his head. Cäsar Daecher came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Sidonius Eisenhauer. But to his dismay, Sidonius Eisenhauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Sidonius Eisenhauer got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Dinamo ST Gallen defense, Georges Wermelinger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cäsar Daecher. The Dinamo ST Gallen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cäsar Daecher should have stopped the shot. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save AG.S. Rhäzüns FC from getting a goal against them. Jonas Lütolf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Borer in the 81st minute. Dinamo ST Gallen's Theo Netzer got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 played minutes AG.S. Rhäzüns FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidonius Eisenhauer. Sidonius Eisenhauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giacomo Hecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Lütolf having to interfere. With his leg Jonas Lütolf managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Dinamo ST Gallen's Francisco Borer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Despite being the better team, Dinamo ST Gallen failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
