Hasso Lapierre hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Eduard Oderholz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes of play, RealBJK's Jordi Grüter made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karsten Gerner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karsten Gerner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Petrova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karsten Gerner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Petrova in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Thun defense, Hasso Lapierre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karsten Gerner. The FC Thun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karsten Gerner should have stopped the shot. Karsten Gerner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordi Grüter in the 18th minute of the match. Karsten Gerner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordi Grüter, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alex Petrova took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karsten Gerner. Karsten Gerner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Grover Tosi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Alain Strobel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eduard Oderholz made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jordi Grüter immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tam Rast during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Tam Rast hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, RealBJK's Maurus Eichel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karsten Gerner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Alex Petrova's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karsten Gerner was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Petrova in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Gerner saved FC Thun from getting behind. Karsten Gerner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Strobel in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, FC Thun's goal looked a bit too open when Renald Lazarev came free, but Karsten Gerner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Thun's Karsten Gerner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renald Lazarev in the 45th minute of play. Alex Petrova scored 0-5 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karsten Gerner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Wocher was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, FC Thun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nepomuk Croteau to maneuver through the defense. Karsten Gerner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alain Strobel. A sloppy throw-in by Alain Strobel in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Thun's Matt Brandenberg. 59 minutes into the game, Hasso Lapierre threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Thun's Tam Rast quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 62 minutes into the match, FC Thun's goalkeeper Karsten Gerner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renald Lazarev. 63 minutes into the match, Renald Lazarev notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC Thun's Karsten Gerner. Karsten Gerner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Thun's Karsten Gerner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save FC Thun from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, FC Thun's goalkeeper Karsten Gerner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renald Lazarev. FC Thun's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Renald Lazarev scored to the left of an out of position Karsten Gerner, making the score, 0-7. Alex Petrova in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karsten Gerner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renald Lazarev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karsten Gerner came out and tried to block the shot, but Renald Lazarev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 78th minute. With a little luck, FC Thun's Karsten Gerner got control of the ball when Hasso Lapierre tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, RealBJK's Renald Lazarev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Karsten Gerner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Petrova in the 88th minute of the match. FC Thun's Karsten Gerner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurus Eichel in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Renald Lazarev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karsten Gerner. That made the score 0-10 in the 90 minute of play. Karsten Gerner didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. RealBJK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
