After 10 played minutes, Apfelbaum's Ulrich Wiler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Endrik Galliker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apfelbaum reached it. Widodo Puang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endrik Galliker having to interfere. Apfelbaum's Mick Doucet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Apfelbaum from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Moon Night Fighter's zone, Widodo Puang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Endrik Galliker came out of the goal and Widodo Puang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kenneth Lejeune had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Widodo Puang to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Widodo Puang fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Widodo Puang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lionel 柯景云 hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Luis Fuhrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute of the game Luis Fuhrer made a throw-in which Widodo Puang played forward. In the 70th minute, Apfelbaum's Widodo Puang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Endrik Galliker. Endrik Galliker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The supporters of Apfelbaum booed when Moon Night Fighter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Nannarone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristof Wermelinger made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gilabert Diguja immediately put the ball in play. Kenneth Lejeune received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Endrik Galliker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Fuhrer struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Endrik Galliker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apfelbaum. The throw-in from Ulrich Wiler in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Moon Night Fighter's Lionel 柯景云. Mick Doucet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Nannarone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Widodo Puang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endrik Galliker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Moon Night Fighter fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Apfelbaum were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
