In the 19th minute Gabriel Meier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Gerner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, one of FC Thun:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Thun. In the 34thth minute of the game Quentin Amstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Thun's Karsten Gerner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Quentin Amstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Gerner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin Amstad took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karsten Gerner. The wind increased when Christian Wocher made the kick off in the second half.
