After 33 minutes, Farid Stäheli made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Matélon's Chuck Moschen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Claude Racine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matélon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After having played for 45 minutes, Valentin Müller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matélon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Müller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Claude Racine dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boris Oehen, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Farid Stäheli to make the kick off. Matélon's Chuck Moschen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Matélon from getting a goal against them. SSC Napoli - THE END's Farid Stäheli was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The SSC Napoli - THE END fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when SSC Napoli - THE END's Farid Stäheli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matélon's Chuck Moschen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Matélon from getting a goal against them. During the 76th minute of the match Adrien Werfel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adrien Werfel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 76th minute, Adrien Werfel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farid Stäheli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Oehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Racine in the 80th minute of play. Claude Racine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Oehen having to interfere. SSC Napoli - THE END's Farid Stäheli was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 87 played minutes SSC Napoli - THE END got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Domini. Chuck Moschen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farid Stäheli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 92 in the game by Farid Stäheli from a close distance when the talented Chuck Moschen managed to make a qualified save. Matélon's players were relieved. Matélon's Chuck Moschen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farid Stäheli in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Farid Stäheli in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chuck Moschen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Farid Stäheli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Chuck Moschen made a huge save. Despite being the better team, SSC Napoli - THE END failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
