Spectators: 6932 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Darius Eberhart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bottens's supporters rose to their feet, but Darius Eberhart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remi Mader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Anthony Mader got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Bottens's goalkeeper Arndt Tittone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karim Meier. After a rather tough play, Bottens's Beltrame Arnold got a free kick in the 20th minute. Arndt Tittone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Mader in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Baecker during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Lütmerken:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ulric Laforge shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Darius Eberhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remi Mader having to interfere. Lütmerken's Anthony Mader got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Zacchia might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remi Mader. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Zacchia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Lütmerken's zone, Charles Zacchia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remi Mader came out of the goal and Charles Zacchia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lütmerken's Remi Mader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Eberhart in the 45th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Zacchia in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remi Mader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bottens's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulric Laforge in the 55th minute. Darius Eberhart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Remi Mader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Charles Zacchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remi Mader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Langelier charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Langelier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Lütmerken got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Langelier. In the 71st minute, Charles Zacchia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remi Mader. The goal made the score 0-2. After 74 minutes of play Lütmerken's Giuseppe Langelier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Giuseppe Langelier hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lütmerken's Remi Mader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Zacchia in the 76th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Bottens's Remi Mader threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charles Zacchia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Charles Zacchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Remi Mader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darius Eberhart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute Charles Zacchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remi Mader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Meier in the 88th minute of play forced Bottens's goalkeeper Arndt Tittone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Bottens got a freekick which was hit by Karl Bleyer. Bottens's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
