If Darius Eberhart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eschikofen's Raffaelo von Felten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Eschikofen from getting a goal against them. When Eschikofen's Adamantios Vlastarakis in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bottens's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Raffaelo von Felten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Charles Zacchia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Zacchia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Luca Lepage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Charles Zacchia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bottens's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Zacchia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raffaelo von Felten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Mehri kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Darius Eberhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Charles Zacchia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raffaelo von Felten was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Yanic Zimmermann scored 2-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arndt Tittone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Eschikofen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bottens throughout the match.
