Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Wocher started the match with the kick off. Lionel Faoccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karsten Gerner came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirsus's Giuliano Spiller. But to his dismay, Giuliano Spiller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Thun's Jefferson Miani got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Pirsus's Percy Ziegler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karsten Gerner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Giuliano Spiller came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Pirsus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuliano Spiller couldn't finish the play. Keno Monney charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keno Monney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 19 minutes into the game, Pirsus's Lionel Faoccia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karsten Gerner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thaddäus Gier kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Christian Wocher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Igor Eigel made a huge save. FC Thun's Karsten Gerner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuliano Spiller in the 36th minute of play. Christian Wocher kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Pirsus's Lionel Faoccia got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Giuliano Spiller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirsus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuliano Spiller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Giuliano Spiller made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Thaddäus Gier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Thun's Karsten Gerner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC Thun from getting a goal against them. Thaddäus Gier kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pier Pfeifer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Karsten Gerner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuliano Spiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Guillaume Izzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Jefferson Miani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Eigel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirsus's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
