Roque Feliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 10 minutes, Kim Van den Haute made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mittlersass's Roque Feliu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Van den Haute in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Feliu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympio Bürgler hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. NEWELLS SWISS BOYS's Carolo Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Carolo Pagomari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Feliu. Mittlersass's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Pagomari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Kim Van den Haute sped through Mittlersass's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roque Feliu. 34 minutes into the match, Mittlersass's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Kobel came free, but Roque Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The Mittlersass fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Feliu should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Kim Van den Haute's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Feliu was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Kellman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Steve Kobel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Roque Feliu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Steve Kobel notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Mittlersass's Roque Feliu. Roque Feliu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 72 minutes, Steve Kobel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEWELLS SWISS BOYS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Kobel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roque Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Pagomari in the 91st minute of play forced Mittlersass's goalkeeper Roque Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Steve Kobel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Feliu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-15. Carolo Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Roque Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mittlersass fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NEWELLS SWISS BOYS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
