The Graben fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Graben's Richmond Dirckx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Graben's Laurenzo Wagner got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Black Jack defense, Jimeno Savier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juergen Lange. The Black Jack fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juergen Lange should have stopped the shot. Richmond Dirckx kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurenzo Wagner in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juergen Lange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Rankel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sinclair Angelici in the 27th minute. Luis Wasser kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jimeno Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Juergen Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Garrick Kumschick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Jack and the Graben players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Black Jack got a freekick which was hit by Garrick Kumschick. Juergen Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Valkenaers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juergen Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenzo Wagner, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jimeno Savier scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juergen Lange, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Laurenzo Wagner sped through Black Jack's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juergen Lange. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurenzo Wagner made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Black Jack's zone, Paul Landers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juergen Lange came out of the goal and Paul Landers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Black Jack's Juergen Lange proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Black Jack from getting a goal against them. Laurenzo Wagner did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Juergen Lange 57 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, Graben's Jimeno Savier made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juergen Lange was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jimeno Savier came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Graben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Savier couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jimeno Savier put it in 1-11 from a short distance just to the right of Juergen Lange. When Cedric Sprecher fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Jack's protests and gave Cedric Sprecher a yellow card for diving instead. Graben's Jimeno Savier was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Laurenzo Wagner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richmond Dirckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Graben left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Black Jack.
