The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Enigma's Sidney Mazzolimo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Marco Soltermann hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Neron Vogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Kristoffer Reck made a huge save. But to his dismay, Fridericus Vogel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 41 played minutes, Enigma's Sepp Widenmeier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kristoffer Reck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Enigma reached it. After 42 played minutes Cartygny got a freekick which was hit by Andre Widenmeier. Tibor Verreau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristoffer Reck. Cartygny's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Morgan Banda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fridericus Vogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidney Mazzolimo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Bonato in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Morgan Banda saved Enigma from getting behind. Enigma's Morgan Banda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Bonato in the 57th minute of play. Lukas Bonato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Morgan Banda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Fridericus Vogel could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Morgan Banda however easily saved by the left post. After 67 played minutes Enigma got a freekick which was hit by Neron Vogel. 68 minutes into the match, Enigma's goalkeeper Morgan Banda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fridericus Vogel. In the 74th minute Danilo Imgrüt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Banda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Enigma's Sidney Mazzolimo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristoffer Reck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Enigma booed when Cartygny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Widenmeier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristoffer Reck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neron Vogel in the 80th minute of play. Cartygny's Andre Widenmeier got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Andre Widenmeier off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cartygny's Andre Widenmeier got a free kick in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Cartygny's goal looked a bit too open when Neron Vogel came free, but Kristoffer Reck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Imgrüt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Morgan Banda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 90 in the game by Fridericus Vogel from a close distance when the talented Morgan Banda managed to make a qualified save. Enigma's players were relieved. Morgan Banda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Imgrüt in the 91st minute. When Tibor Verreau fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enigma's protests and gave Tibor Verreau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, one of Enigma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Enigma.
