Spectators: 8490 (Terracing: 6368, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sylvain Krell made the kick off which started today's match. Ludwig Summermatter came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Ticino Patriots's Lucjan Zacharek. But to his dismay, Lucjan Zacharek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan LondeLalonde. After having played for 9 minutes, Kauã Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ticino Patriots's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriele Bilodeau kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ticino Patriots's Roth Sommer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvain Krell in the 17th minute of play. Tizian Zimmermann's late challenge caught a Real Kurdistan 05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tizian Zimmermann helped the player get up and apologised. Tizian Zimmermann hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Yan LondeLalonde from a close distance when the talented Roth Sommer managed to make a qualified save. Ticino Patriots's players were relieved. Yan LondeLalonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roth Sommer having to interfere. Ludwig Summermatter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Paes in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Jerano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ticino Patriots's Teo Vincx got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Lucjan Zacharek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludwig Summermatter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Justo Jerano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ludwig Summermatter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Jerano might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludwig Summermatter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Jerano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute Justo Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Summermatter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Jerano in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludwig Summermatter saved Real Kurdistan 05 from getting behind. If Kauã Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frankie Freeh scored 0-5 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludwig Summermatter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Gregory Kuster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Roth Sommer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kauã Paes struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ludwig Summermatter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ticino Patriots. Justo Jerano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justo Jerano had several of the Real Kurdistan 05's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Ludwig Summermatter as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Ticino Patriots could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real Kurdistan 05 throughout the match.
