The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Francisco Wildhaber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Servatius Ackeret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyonel Fossati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Henzmann in the 5th minute of play. Fc RayDog:s Servatius Ackeret showed great skill when he stopped Simon Di Luca:s penalty. Leopoldo Muench struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Servatius Ackeret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forel SC. Remy Buchmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lyonel Fossati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Fc RayDog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastien Hellmann to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Fc RayDog's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Wildhaber came free, but Servatius Ackeret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Forel SC's Lyonel Fossati got control of the ball when Remy Buchmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Wildhaber in the 22nd minute of play forced Fc RayDog's goalkeeper Servatius Ackeret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ilian Brasseur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lyonel Fossati was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Francisco Wildhaber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Servatius Ackeret having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Ilian Brasseur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Lionel Rinert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Servatius Ackeret didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Muench went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Remy Buchmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, one of Forel SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Francisco Wildhaber made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Fc RayDog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Marbach to maneuver through the defense. In the 57thth minute of the game Ilian Brasseur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forel SC's Lyonel Fossati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Fc RayDog's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Wildhaber came free, but Servatius Ackeret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bastien Hellmann during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bastien Hellmann hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Forel SC's Virgil Freud shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Servatius Ackeret but with some difficulty. When Fc RayDog's Ilian Brasseur in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forel SC's goalie prevented a goal. Fc RayDog's Ilian Brasseur got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Remy Buchmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ilian Brasseur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lyonel Fossati was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Remy Buchmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyonel Fossati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilian Brasseur, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Gavin Ritter fired a really elegant long shot, but Servatius Ackeret threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ilian Brasseur put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lyonel Fossati. Remy Buchmann struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lyonel Fossati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc RayDog. When Remy Buchmann came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Fc RayDog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remy Buchmann couldn't finish the play.
