Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Forel SC's Francisco Wildhaber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maik Gruenigen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Wildhaber's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Lazarus Decimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, AC Bilano-Arco's Hanley Märki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lyonel Fossati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hanley Märki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lyonel Fossati was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Lyonel Fossati came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Bilano-Arco's Lazarus Decimo. But to his dismay, Lazarus Decimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lyonel Fossati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hanley Märki's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Björn Strauss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyonel Fossati having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Forel SC's goalkeeper Lyonel Fossati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Hanley Märki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Bilano-Arco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hanley Märki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lyonel Fossati came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Bilano-Arco's Hanley Märki. But to his dismay, Hanley Märki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Forel SC's Lyonel Fossati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanley Märki in the 37th minute of play. Maik Gruenigen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Giorgio Dutzler. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Muench got free with Maik Gruenigen in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Forel SC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Giorgio Dutzler hit a great ball. Björn Strauss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lyonel Fossati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hanley Märki made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Hanley Märki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 53 played minutes AC Bilano-Arco got a freekick which was hit by Sidonius Massey. 56 minutes into the game, Francisco Wildhaber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forel SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Bilano-Arco the free kick. Francisco Wildhaber hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Hanley Märki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Antonio Fridli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forel SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Bilano-Arco the free kick. The supporters of AC Bilano-Arco booed when Forel SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Fridli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Forel SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hanley Märki 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Forel SC's Virgil Freud got a free kick in the 81st minute. Francisco Wildhaber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Muench in the 87th minute of play forced AC Bilano-Arco's goalkeeper Maik Gruenigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howard Jost's late challenge caught a Forel SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Howard Jost helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Bilano-Arco's Howard Jost got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Hanley Märki came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the AC Bilano-Arco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanley Märki couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Björn Strauss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyonel Fossati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Bilano-Arco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
