Moscia SC's Lars Schmid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefano Stempfel in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Conan Elisabeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Schmid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Detlev Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Lejeune having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berthold Winkel got free with Lars Schmid in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes of play, Winikon's Berthold Winkel made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Schmid was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Fries was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Emil Rothenberger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moscia SC's Lars Schmid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Moscia SC booed when Winikon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Dolder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moscia SC may have spent more time on the ball, but Winikon were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
