Suruç's Armin Schauber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Wildhaber in the 52nd minute of play. Lyonel Fossati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Lampart, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Dominique Lischer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lyonel Fossati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play Forel SC's Lionel Rinert was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 62 played minutes Forel SC got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Rinert. In the 66thth minute of the game Maximilien Siedler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forel SC's Lyonel Fossati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Maximilien Siedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyonel Fossati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominique Lischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyonel Fossati having to interfere. Francisco Wildhaber hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Suruç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Lüpold to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Leopoldo Muench could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Armin Schauber however easily saved by the left post. Suruç's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
