Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Kauã Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ticino Patriots's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauã Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lyonel Fossati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kai Striner charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kai Striner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kai Striner hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Lucjan Zacharek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyonel Fossati. Forel SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Zacharek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Ticino Patriots's Kauã Paes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lyonel Fossati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Wildhaber came free, but Roth Sommer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Zacharek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Di Luca kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Bögli came free, but Roth Sommer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After 60 played minutes Ticino Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Tizian Zimmermann. 64 minutes into the match, Forel SC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Jerano came free, but Lyonel Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 73 minutes, Tizian Zimmermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ticino Patriots and the Forel SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kauã Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyonel Fossati having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's Lucjan Zacharek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lyonel Fossati narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
