Stephan Lejeune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Kuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th match minute, Winikon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Massey to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Berthold Winkel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ludwig Summermatter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Berthold Winkel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winikon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 25 minutes, Stefano Stempfel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winikon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefano Stempfel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Conan Elisabeth notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Real Kurdistan 05's Ludwig Summermatter. Ludwig Summermatter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Berthold Winkel sped through Real Kurdistan 05's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ludwig Summermatter. Ludwig Summermatter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berthold Winkel went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefano Stempfel in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludwig Summermatter saved Real Kurdistan 05 from getting behind. After some careless play in the Real Kurdistan 05 defense, Stefano Stempfel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludwig Summermatter. The Real Kurdistan 05 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludwig Summermatter should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berthold Winkel to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kurdistan 05's zone, Stefano Stempfel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Summermatter came out of the goal and Stefano Stempfel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Stefano Stempfel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winikon's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefano Stempfel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludwig Summermatter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludwig Summermatter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Stempfel in the 58th minute of play. Winikon's Stephan Lejeune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvain Krell in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Kurdistan 05's goalkeeper Ludwig Summermatter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Raphael Massey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stefano Stempfel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71stth minute of the game Stefano Stempfel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Kurdistan 05's Ludwig Summermatter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sylvain Krell hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Winikon's Stephan Lejeune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Kuster in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Real Kurdistan 05 booed when Winikon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berthold Winkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano Stempfel in the 81st minute of play forced Real Kurdistan 05's goalkeeper Ludwig Summermatter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefano Stempfel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ludwig Summermatter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Winikon's Stefano Stempfel in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Kurdistan 05's goalie prevented a goal. Winikon's Conan Elisabeth got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Stefano Stempfel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Summermatter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Kurdistan 05's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Berthold Winkel was slow to take the kick. During this time Winikon's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Winikon's corner Berthold Winkel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ludwig Summermatter quite easily take care of the ball. Winikon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
