Spectators: 8554 (Terracing: 6417, Seating: 1967, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marc Fuhrer started the match with the kick off. Justo Jerano took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elari Veide. Elari Veide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 5th minute, Bruce Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roth Sommer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Barbey in the 8th minute of the match. Justo Jerano scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elari Veide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roth Sommer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Fuhrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Enrique Parizeau got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roth Sommer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lucjan Zacharek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elari Veide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yggdrasil's Bruce Wagner got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Justo Jerano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ticino Patriots fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 45th minute Justo Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elari Veide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Bruce Wagner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yggdrasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ticino Patriots the free kick. In the 48th minute, Bruce Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Ticino Patriots were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Justo Jerano made the kick off in the second half. Roth Sommer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Parizeau in the 52nd minute of play. Enrique Parizeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roth Sommer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Fuhrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruce Wagner kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Justo Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucjan Zacharek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Elari Veide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Lucjan Zacharek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elari Veide, 1-5. The supporters of Yggdrasil booed when Ticino Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frankie Freeh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yggdrasil's Noah Barbey got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Vincx hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Tizian Zimmermann hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 77th play minutes Justo Jerano shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Elari Veide and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 79th minute, Marc Fuhrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elari Veide stood somewhat misplaced when Justo Jerano came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 81 minute. In the 93rd minute, Enrique Parizeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Justo Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elari Veide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
