Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 150) Francisco Wildhaber made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Forel SC's goalkeeper Lyonel Fossati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berthold Winkel. With his leg Lyonel Fossati managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Winikon's Berthold Winkel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Winikon's Stefano Stempfel got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lyonel Fossati came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Winikon's Rowland Erni. But to his dismay, Rowland Erni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Derek Bögli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forel SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winikon the free kick. In the 26th minute, Derek Bögli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Winikon's Berthold Winkel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lyonel Fossati. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. In the 34th match minute, Forel SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Freud to maneuver through the defense. Emil Rothenberger came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lyonel Fossati could save by the left post. Stephan Lejeune came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Forel SC's Lionel Rinert. But to his dismay, Lionel Rinert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 43 played minutes Forel SC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Muench.

Stephan Lejeune made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Derek Bögli sent off a good shot on target. Stephan Lejeune came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Forel SC's Leopoldo Muench. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Muench quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 60th minute, Forel SC's Leopoldo Muench ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stephan Lejeune. Stephan Lejeune yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Stephan Lejeune made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Muench in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Winikon's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Fridli came free, but Stephan Lejeune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Winikon booed when Forel SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel Rinert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyonel Fossati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berthold Winkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rowland Erni kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Francisco Wildhaber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stephan Lejeune was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Mauritius Beckenbauer charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauritius Beckenbauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Mauritius Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Forel SC's Simon Di Luca got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Stefano Stempfel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute of the match, Francisco Wildhaber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stephan Lejeune saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute, Francisco Wildhaber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephan Lejeune was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Forel SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
