Elari Veide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berthold Winkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Stefano Stempfel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winikon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefano Stempfel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Yggdrasil's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Rothenberger came free, but Elari Veide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Winikon got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Dolder. A collision led to Winikon getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Raymond Dolder hit a great ball. Herald Hengemühl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Stephan Lejeune made a huge save. After 16 minutes, Zac Naab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yggdrasil and the Winikon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yggdrasil's Zac Naab got a free kick in the 16th minute. Berthold Winkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elari Veide having to interfere. The supporters of Winikon booed when Yggdrasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Valet didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stefano Stempfel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berthold Winkel in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elari Veide saved Yggdrasil from getting behind. Yggdrasil's Zac Naab got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Zac Naab off the ground. After 29 played minutes Yggdrasil got a freekick which was hit by Zac Naab. In the 36th minute, Marc Fuhrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Stephan Lejeune successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 48 played minutes Yggdrasil got a freekick which was hit by Noah Barbey. 50 minutes into the game, Marc Fuhrer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stephan Lejeune. Marc Fuhrer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Parizeau to make the kick off. Stephan Lejeune took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noah Barbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yggdrasil's Elari Veide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conan Elisabeth in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Raymond Dolder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elari Veide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stephan Lejeune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Parizeau in the 71st minute of the match. When Winikon's Stefano Stempfel in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yggdrasil's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute Marc Fuhrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Lejeune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yggdrasil's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stefano Stempfel 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 81 minutes into the game, Marc Fuhrer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yggdrasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winikon the free kick. After a rather tough play, Yggdrasil's Marc Fuhrer got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to Yggdrasil getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marc Fuhrer hit a great ball. Winikon's Stephan Lejeune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Barbey in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Noah Barbey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephan Lejeune was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Marc Fuhrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yggdrasil were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Winikon for a fine match.
