In the 28th match minute, Fc RayDog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemens Acklin to maneuver through the defense. Ilian Brasseur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roth Sommer having to interfere. Kauã Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 minutes of play, Ticino Patriots's Justo Jerano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Servatius Ackeret was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the game, Teo Vincx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ticino Patriots's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc RayDog the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ticino Patriots's Teo Vincx got a free kick in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justo Jerano was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Kauã Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ticino Patriots fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Justo Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilian Brasseur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Roth Sommer made a huge save. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemens Acklin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Justo Jerano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandro Henzmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roth Sommer having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Clemens Acklin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
