An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Fuhrer in the 8th minute of play forced Suruç's goalkeeper Armin Schauber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suruç's Armin Schauber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Parizeau in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Suruç booed when Yggdrasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noah Barbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armin Schauber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Parizeau in the 13th minute of the match. Jordano Laberge charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordano Laberge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximilien Siedler might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elari Veide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximilien Siedler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Maximilien Siedler made a precise shot to the right of Elari Veide. Yggdrasil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the game, Enrique Parizeau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Armin Schauber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Yggdrasil's Noah Barbey got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Omar Lampart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Dominique Lischer sped through Yggdrasil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elari Veide. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximilien Siedler to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Yggdrasil's zone, Dominique Lischer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elari Veide came out of the goal and Dominique Lischer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elari Veide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominique Lischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Yggdrasil getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Noah Barbey hit a great ball. Suruç's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Marc Fuhrer scored to the left of an out of position Armin Schauber, making the score, 4-2. Dominique Lischer scored 5-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elari Veide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Yggdrasil getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marc Fuhrer hit a great ball. Elari Veide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximilien Siedler went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. When Maximilien Siedler came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Suruç fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilien Siedler couldn't finish the play. Dominique Lischer took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elari Veide. Elari Veide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. Dominique Lischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yggdrasil fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Yggdrasil's Bruce Wagner got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Suruç's Dominique Lischer got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
