Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 150) 2 minutes into the match, Kauã Paes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Winikon's Stephan Lejeune. Stephan Lejeune was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Jerano in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephan Lejeune prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, Winikon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauritius Beckenbauer to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Justo Jerano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Winikon's Stephan Lejeune. Stephan Lejeune was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tizian Zimmermann in the 15th minute of play forced Winikon's goalkeeper Stephan Lejeune to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ticino Patriots fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Ticino Patriots's Justo Jerano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stephan Lejeune didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Jerano went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Ticino Patriots's Roth Sommer got control of the ball when Berthold Winkel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Mauritius Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tizian Zimmermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ticino Patriots's supporters rose to their feet, but Tizian Zimmermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Lejeune breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's goalkeeper Roth Sommer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berthold Winkel. Frankie Freeh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Lejeune having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Lucjan Zacharek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ticino Patriots's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Zacharek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Justo Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Lejeune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Tizian Zimmermann notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Winikon's Stephan Lejeune. Stephan Lejeune was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tizian Zimmermann kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Tizian Zimmermann made a precise shot to the right of Stephan Lejeune. Winikon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. A collision led to Winikon getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Rowland Erni hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Ticino Patriots's Kauã Paes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Ticino Patriots were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justo Jerano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Kauã Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephan Lejeune was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 60 minutes into the game, Kauã Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Stephan Lejeune was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Justo Jerano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stephan Lejeune. That made the score 0-9 in the 67 minute of play. With a little luck, Winikon's Stephan Lejeune got control of the ball when Justo Jerano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stephan Lejeune took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tizian Zimmermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Winikon booed when Ticino Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Kauã Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ticino Patriots fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Kauã Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Stephan Lejeune tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriele Bilodeau was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, one of Ticino Patriots:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ticino Patriots's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
