In the 16th minute, Safenwil AC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Etienne Borghi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Servatius Dové fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Safenwil AC's protests and gave Servatius Dové a yellow card for diving instead. Servatius Dové kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Stig Fruehauf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Alberto Forcucci in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Promille FC's Abel Arnold. Jesse Frischknecht scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giusto Gut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Birger Pollastrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Caya in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Claudio Caya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Promille FC's Birger Pollastrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes, Stig Fruehauf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Safenwil AC and the Promille FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stig Fruehauf kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Korbin Spörri hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Caya to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Promille FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Korbin Spörri was slow to take the kick. During this time Safenwil AC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Isaak heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Promille FC's Jesse Frischknecht quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Servatius Dové, made in the 56th minute of the game. If Etienne Borghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Safenwil AC got a freekick which was hit by Korbin Spörri. 68 minutes into the game, Servatius Dové threw the ball into play from the sideline. Promille FC's Eugene Walz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Safenwil AC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Felix Isaak hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Promille FC's goalkeeper Birger Pollastrini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Caya. Abel Arnold kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Promille FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
