Spectators: 8571 (Terracing: 6429, Seating: 1971, VIP seats: 171) Rodrigo Wertscher took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quintinus Freeh. Quintinus Freeh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Lionel Jenni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Gunt's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Wertscher came free, but Quintinus Freeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Enea Wechsler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tegerfelden and the Gunt players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Nussbaum in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Frey saved Tegerfelden from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolphe Rochat in the 19th minute of play forced Tegerfelden's goalkeeper Tony Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimir Dahinden got free with Quintinus Freeh in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moritz Christen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tony Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Nussbaum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Roland Hunkeler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tegerfelden the free kick. Roland Hunkeler kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Tegerfelden's Rodrigo Wertscher dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 41st match minute, Tegerfelden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Wertscher to maneuver through the defense. Tegerfelden's Tony Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicola Diederich in the 43rd minute of play. If Enea Wechsler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Nussbaum to make the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Rodolphe Rochat from a close distance when the talented Tony Frey managed to make a qualified save. Tegerfelden's players were relieved. If Rodrigo Wertscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gunt's Ignaz Schwaller got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Nicola Diederich recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony Frey. Nicola Diederich showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 68 minutes, Geraldo Nussbaum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunt and the Tegerfelden players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Gunt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Nussbaum to maneuver through the defense. The Tegerfelden fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Tegerfelden's Rodrigo Wertscher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Quintinus Freeh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enea Wechsler in the 79th minute of play. Tony Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicola Diederich, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Rodolphe Rochat could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Tony Frey however easily saved by the left post. Tony Frey came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gunt's Rodolphe Rochat. But to his dismay, Rodolphe Rochat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Ignaz Schwaller fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gunt's protests and gave Ignaz Schwaller a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enea Wechsler in the 88th minute of play forced Gunt's goalkeeper Quintinus Freeh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Nussbaum in the 91st minute of play. Quintinus Freeh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enea Wechsler in the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gunt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tegerfelden.
