An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Carosello in the 12th minute of play forced FC Zürich's goalkeeper Jared Labrie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes street gela got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Carosello. In the 36th minute, Claudius Wiesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxime Geisseler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dominik Zeffiro made a huge save. Jared Labrie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bobby Carosello went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxime Geisseler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Claudius Wiesi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zürich and the street gela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 99 minutes, Hanley Nager managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. street gela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hanley Nager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over street gela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Zürich throughout the match.
