Spectators: 8493 (Terracing: 6371, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geraldo Nussbaum started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Delémont EC's Quentin Galliker got a free kick in the 7th minute. Fabrizio Ambrogioni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintinus Freeh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Marvin Neuenschwander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicola Diederich in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Delémont EC's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Nussbaum came free, but Marvin Neuenschwander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicola Diederich scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marvin Neuenschwander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marvin Neuenschwander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicola Diederich, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Gunt's Geraldo Nussbaum made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marvin Neuenschwander was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Nussbaum in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marvin Neuenschwander saved Delémont EC from getting behind. Marvin Neuenschwander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Nussbaum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrizio Ambrogioni made a kick off. Marvin Neuenschwander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicola Diederich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marvin Neuenschwander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicola Diederich went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute of the match, Rodolphe Rochat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marvin Neuenschwander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Roland Hunkeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marvin Neuenschwander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geraldo Nussbaum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 62 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Delémont EC's goalkeeper Marvin Neuenschwander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolphe Rochat. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrizio Ambrogioni in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quintinus Freeh saved Gunt from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Nicola Diederich notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Delémont EC's Marvin Neuenschwander. Marvin Neuenschwander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marvin Neuenschwander came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunt's Geraldo Nussbaum. But to his dismay, Geraldo Nussbaum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. 78 minutes into the game, Nicola Diederich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Marvin Neuenschwander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marvin Neuenschwander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Hunkeler in the 82nd minute of the match. Delémont EC's Marvin Neuenschwander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Hunkeler in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Delémont EC's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Nussbaum came free, but Marvin Neuenschwander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marvin Neuenschwander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Hunkeler, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Roberto Trolla charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Trolla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Trolla hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Rodolphe Rochat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Gunt's Nicola Diederich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marvin Neuenschwander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. The Delémont EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gunt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
