Jared Labrie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jared Labrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enea Wechsler in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Wertscher in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Zürich's goalkeeper Jared Labrie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudius Wiesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tony Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tegerfelden were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after FC Zürich's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enea Wechsler took the corner. After 34 played minutes FC Zürich got a freekick which was hit by Maxime Geisseler. 36 minutes into the match, FC Zürich's goal looked a bit too open when Enea Wechsler came free, but Jared Labrie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jared Labrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Wertscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the FC Zürich defense, Enea Wechsler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jared Labrie. The FC Zürich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jared Labrie should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Wertscher made a kick off. FC Zürich's Jared Labrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lothaire Wyser in the 53rd minute of play. Jared Labrie was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Casimir Dahinden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Casimir Dahinden really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Tony Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudius Wiesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Tegerfelden's Jared Labrie threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrigo Wertscher, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th minute, Enea Wechsler made a precise shot to the right of Jared Labrie. FC Zürich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When Gualtier Dubs fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tegerfelden's protests and gave Gualtier Dubs a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tegerfelden's Gualtier Dubs got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Claudius Wiesi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tegerfelden's Tony Frey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Wertscher succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 90th playminute. Jared Labrie was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Rodrigo Wertscher capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Wertscher really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tegerfelden had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
