FC Glarus's LLoyd Stübi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fabrizio Ambrogioni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 38th minute of the match Dario Uttiger completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dario Uttiger a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dario Uttiger hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Zihler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Galliker, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Ambrogioni notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Glarus's Leopoldo Zihler. Dario Ehrler got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fabrizio Ambrogioni. In the 93rd minute, Simjon Gruenigen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marvin Neuenschwander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simjon Gruenigen went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The FC Glarus supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Delémont EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Delémont EC.
