The Suruç fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, Suruç's Enrico Peter got control of the ball when Enea Wechsler tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enea Wechsler got free with Enrico Peter in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Frey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Jakobeit in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Casimir Dahinden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Wertscher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrico Peter. Suruç's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Wertscher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Wertscher in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrico Peter saved Suruç from getting behind. Suruç's Olivier Jakobeit got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Jakobeit in the 76th minute of play forced Tegerfelden's goalkeeper Tony Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Suruç's Benoit Luthiger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Frey. Tony Frey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Enrico Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Wertscher in the 81st minute of the match. 2-6 became the score in the 83rd minute when Benoit Luthiger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tony Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Luthiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enea Wechsler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Peter having to interfere. The Tegerfelden supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Suruç's performance. The match ended with a win for Suruç.
