Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geraldo Nussbaum started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolphe Rochat got free with Tony Frey in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignaz Schwaller's late challenge caught a Tegerfelden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignaz Schwaller helped the player get up and apologised. Quintinus Freeh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Wertscher in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolphe Rochat got free with Tony Frey in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Frey made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nicola Diederich sent off a good shot on target. Rodolphe Rochat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Tony Frey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Tony Frey managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Gunt's Geraldo Nussbaum fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Tegerfelden's Tony Frey got control of the ball when Rodolphe Rochat tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Gunt booed when Tegerfelden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimir Dahinden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignaz Schwaller kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Moritz Christen charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moritz Christen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gunt getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Moritz Christen hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Enea Wechsler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quintinus Freeh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Nussbaum in the 29th minute of play forced Tegerfelden's goalkeeper Tony Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Rodolphe Rochat made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tegerfelden's Tony Frey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 35th minute of the match Moritz Christen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Moritz Christen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 35 played minutes Gunt got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Christen. 36 minutes into the match, Tegerfelden's Casimir Dahinden broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tony Frey made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Rodolphe Rochat sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Tegerfelden's goalkeeper Tony Frey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolphe Rochat. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Wertscher made the kick off in the second half. If Ignaz Schwaller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gunt's Roman Faber got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Wertscher in the 69th minute of play forced Gunt's goalkeeper Quintinus Freeh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolphe Rochat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Hunkeler hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Bertrand Vonrotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enea Wechsler didn't quite understand what happened when in the 82 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The supporters of Gunt booed when Tegerfelden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvator Primavera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolphe Rochat hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gunt players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
