The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Kretz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Oberalp's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Kretz came free, but Martyn Koch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Oberalp's Andi Hirschy got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Sandro Kretz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oberalp's Martyn Koch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Sandro Kretz took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Martyn Koch to make any attempt to save it. Oberalp's Martyn Koch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Kretz in the 76th minute of play. If Joe Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Basel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
