Colin Enzmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Garnier in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raffaello Archambault in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Servatius Böni saved FC Basel from getting behind. Raffaello Archambault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colin Enzmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Garnier in the 33rd minute of the match. Raffaello Archambault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Servatius Böni having to interfere. The Seastar Thun players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Basel were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raffaello Archambault stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Basel reached it. Servatius Böni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedel Ziörjen, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dennis Soucy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Seastar Thun's Alan Witschard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Servatius Böni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Soucy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Servatius Böni having to make a save. Lasse Wunderlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Colin Enzmann made a huge save. Colin Enzmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Kretz in the 91st minute of play. Dennis Soucy struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Servatius Böni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seastar Thun. Colin Enzmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lasse Wunderlin went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.
