Spectators: 8538 (Terracing: 6405, Seating: 1963, VIP seats: 170) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gregory Fah got the match started through his kick off. When Gregory Fah came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FC Eichenwies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Fah couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, FC Eichenwies's Massimo Beschmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Theiler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute, one of Red-Skorpion:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red-Skorpion. With a little luck, Red-Skorpion's Michael Theiler got control of the ball when Gregory Fah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Michael Theiler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Red-Skorpion's Geoff Schwarz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Eichenwies's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoff Schwarz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Wennersten saved FC Eichenwies from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massimo Beschmann in the 25th minute of play forced Red-Skorpion's goalkeeper Michael Theiler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Joseph Wicky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Theiler made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gregory Fah sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoff Schwarz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Wennersten saved FC Eichenwies from getting behind. Michael Theiler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathan Herz's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Red-Skorpion's Michael Theiler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathan Herz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Magnus Brünisholz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Theiler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Herz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Geoff Schwarz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hugo Wennersten was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 44th minute of the match, Nathan Herz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Theiler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geoff Schwarz was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Red-Skorpion got a corner. FC Eichenwies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabiano Jenny ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Red-Skorpion's Fabiano Jenny to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Wennersten despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red-Skorpion! Magnus Brünisholz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Red-Skorpion defense, Massimo Beschmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Theiler. The Red-Skorpion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Theiler should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Dominik Bernuzzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Michael Theiler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Niels Witschi fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red-Skorpion's protests and gave Niels Witschi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, one of Red-Skorpion:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red-Skorpion. 73 minutes into the match, Marco Amsel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Theiler. Red-Skorpion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Amsel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Massimo Beschmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Timoteo Bouchard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red-Skorpion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Eichenwies the free kick. After 83 minutes, Joseph Wicky mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red-Skorpion and the FC Eichenwies players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Eichenwies booed when Red-Skorpion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Wicky didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Theiler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Fah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Red-Skorpion's goalkeeper Michael Theiler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Eichenwies made a substitution. Lenz Amhof replaced Massimo Beschmann. In the 94th minute, Timoteo Bouchard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Theiler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Fah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FC Eichenwies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
