Kerwin Nyfeler came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuele Diederich slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute of the match, Enrico Schläfli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kerwin Nyfeler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sammy Vonlanthen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Band of Brothers's goalkeeper Kerwin Nyfeler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kerwin Nyfeler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuele Diederich in the 25th minute. Kerwin Nyfeler made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Frederick Sforza sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match Innercamana AC got a corner. Band of Brothers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peer Soldati ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Innercamana AC's Enrico Schläfli getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Enrico Schläfli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerwin Nyfeler having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Band of Brothers's zone, Enrico Schläfli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerwin Nyfeler came out of the goal and Enrico Schläfli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesko Bürgi got free with Kerwin Nyfeler in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes, Uli Obrecht mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Band of Brothers and the Innercamana AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Band of Brothers's Uli Obrecht got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sammy Vonlanthen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sammy Vonlanthen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Innercamana AC's Enrico Schläfli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 46th minute, Frederick Sforza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The wind increased when Frederick Sforza made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Innercamana AC's Sammy Vonlanthen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kerwin Nyfeler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Jörg Lussier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Band of Brothers booed when Innercamana AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörg Lussier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Enrico Schläfli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Innercamana AC's Enrico Schläfli got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uli Obrecht hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Innercamana AC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
