Spectators: 8442 (Terracing: 6333, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Geoff Schwarz took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Geoff Schwarz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oberalp's Martyn Koch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joseph Wicky kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Red-Skorpion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Wicky to maneuver through the defense. Geoff Schwarz came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martyn Koch could save by the left post. Magnus Brünisholz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Martyn Koch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Geoff Schwarz got free in front of the goal in the 19th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Martyn Koch was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Magnus Brünisholz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martyn Koch. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 32 minutes Oberalp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabiano Jenny who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Fabiano Jenny got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martyn Koch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Magnus Brünisholz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Oberalp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatolij Blättler to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Magnus Brünisholz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red-Skorpion's supporters rose to their feet, but Magnus Brünisholz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martyn Koch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martyn Koch made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Geoff Schwarz sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geoff Schwarz got free with Martyn Koch in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joe Bosch was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Geoff Schwarz sped through Oberalp's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martyn Koch. 58 minutes into the game, Red-Skorpion's Magnus Brünisholz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martyn Koch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Martyn Koch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoff Schwarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoff Schwarz in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martyn Koch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Magnus Brünisholz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Brünisholz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Koch having to interfere. Martyn Koch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geoff Schwarz's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Ubersechs got free with Michael Theiler in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Timoteo Bouchard fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red-Skorpion's protests and gave Timoteo Bouchard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Geoff Schwarz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oberalp's Martyn Koch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Red-Skorpion players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
