The corner was taken by Luigi Flory in the 23rd minute. Luca Saenger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Luca Saenger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hemmersbacher SV's Arnaldo Walthert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korbin Regli in the 30th minute of play. Arnaldo Walthert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benoit von Arb in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Dynamo embri 04's Barnabas Stocker got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to Hemmersbacher SV getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. With a little luck, 1.FC Dynamo embri 04's Remo Nannarone got control of the ball when Scott Herz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Benoit von Arb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hemmersbacher SV's Falko Wechsler was substituted for Harvey Dresdner. Hemmersbacher SV's Sepp Nadel was substituted for Rory Restaino. Hemmersbacher SV's Arnaldo Walthert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korbin Regli in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, 1.FC Dynamo embri 04's goal looked a bit too open when Falko Wechsler came free, but Remo Nannarone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Igor Schwegler fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hemmersbacher SV's protests and gave Igor Schwegler a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Hemmersbacher SV got a freekick which was hit by Igor Schwegler. Korbin Regli scored 2-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Walthert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the 1.FC Dynamo embri 04 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
