Cala's Moritz Wechsler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alxavier Eberhardt in the 16th minute of play. Mogege FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Cala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Casper Nordin took the corner. If Armand Theijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Michael Bürgin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herve Bur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armand Theijs in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Mogege FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo López came free, but Herve Bur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Cala's Üzeyir Orhan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herve Bur was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cala getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Joakim Fleischer hit a great ball. Moritz Wechsler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alxavier Eberhardt in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Snaza in the 42nd minute of play forced Cala's goalkeeper Moritz Wechsler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herve Bur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo López in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mogege FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Üzeyir Orhan was slow to take the kick. During this time Cala's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cala's corner Üzeyir Orhan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herve Bur quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cala made a substitution. Steffen Rohner replaced Luigi Dresner. The wind increased when Armand Theijs made the kick off in the second half. If Pierre Van Geertruyden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Cala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sepp Wüst to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo López scored 5-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herve Bur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Fréderic Stadelmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moritz Wechsler. Fréderic Stadelmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. Armand Theijs took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herve Bur. Herve Bur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. When Armand Theijs fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cala's protests and gave Armand Theijs a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cala's Armand Theijs got a free kick in the 87th minute. Cala's Moritz Wechsler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fréderic Stadelmann in the 91st minute of play. Joakim Fleischer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cala! After some careless play in the Cala defense, Casper Nordin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moritz Wechsler. The Cala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moritz Wechsler should have stopped the shot. Herve Bur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Theijs in the 98th minute of the match. Mogege FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
