Wilbur Diederich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Knechtli having to interfere. Raik Topuz scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dominik Weiss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in New England Tea Men's zone, Salomo Montandon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Weiss came out of the goal and Salomo Montandon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Savion in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Téo Savion made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. New England Tea Men's Dominik Weiss tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Téo Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Fribourg's supporters rose to their feet, but Téo Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Weiss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Medero Gadea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Dominik Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Stutz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Téo Savion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Tea Men's Dominik Weiss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 minutes, Téo Savion made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. New England Tea Men's Dominik Weiss tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Téo Savion got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Salomo Montandon. Fred Stutz took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominik Weiss. Dominik Weiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When Téo Savion was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. In the 40th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Savion to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, New England Tea Men's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Gadea came free, but Dominik Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raik Topuz scored 0-7 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dominik Weiss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The New England Tea Men players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympique Fribourg were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raik Topuz was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Dimitri Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Medero Gadea took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominik Weiss. Dominik Weiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. New England Tea Men's Dominik Weiss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save New England Tea Men from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute of the match, Raik Topuz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dominik Weiss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Medero Gadea took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominik Weiss. Dominik Weiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. When Dimitri Guerra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 73rd match minute, New England Tea Men was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitri Guerra to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in New England Tea Men's zone, Medero Gadea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Weiss came out of the goal and Medero Gadea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-10 became the score in the 79th minute when Raik Topuz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Raik Topuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Dominik Weiss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dominik Weiss came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Raik Topuz. But to his dismay, Raik Topuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympique Fribourg's Raik Topuz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominik Weiss. That made the score 0-12 after 89 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute Raik Topuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raik Topuz hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Olympique Fribourg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New England Tea Men throughout the match.
