Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sorens's Muhammad Kefacha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvester Alessandro came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sorens's Muhammad Kefacha. But to his dismay, Muhammad Kefacha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Adriano Wertscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Sorens's Adriano Wertscher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvester Alessandro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Silvestro Parolini struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Silvester Alessandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorens. If Silvestro Parolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvester Alessandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Wertscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Muhammad Kefacha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Muff hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Muhammad Kefacha scored 0-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvester Alessandro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Sorens's Adriano Wertscher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvester Alessandro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After having played for 43 minutes, Silvestro Parolini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestro Parolini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Muhammad Kefacha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvester Alessandro having to make a save. The supporters of Winterthur booed when Sorens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Schwab didn't get a good kick on the ball. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sorens's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eugen Uliassi was slow to take the kick. During this time Winterthur's players had a chance to rest. The Winterthur players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sorens were winning 0-6.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matt Rösli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 69 minutes in the game, Muhammad Kefacha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Silvester Alessandro having to interfere. If Muhammad Kefacha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Winterthur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cian Bourdette to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Muhammad Kefacha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvester Alessandro. Winterthur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Muhammad Kefacha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Muhammad Kefacha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorens's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhammad Kefacha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvester Alessandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Rösli in the 89th minute of play forced Sorens's goalkeeper Dagobert Saluz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matt Rösli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvester Alessandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Kefacha, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Winterthur fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sorens were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
