In the 2nd minute Benoit von Arb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Walthert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match 1.FC Dynamo embri 04 got a corner. Hemmersbacher SV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfons Wespi ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 6th minute, Frankl Finger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoit von Arb in the 15th minute of play forced Hemmersbacher SV's goalkeeper Arnaldo Walthert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Alfons Wespi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Walthert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alfons Wespi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Walthert was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 22 minutes Hemmersbacher SV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfons Wespi who took care of the corner kick. Luca Eichenberger thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Arnaldo Walthert, a very annoying self made goal in the 22nd minute which led to 0-1. Harvey Dresdner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Saenger in the 29th minute of play forced 1.FC Dynamo embri 04's goalkeeper Remo Nannarone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfons Wespi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Walthert having to interfere. After 34 played minutes 1.FC Dynamo embri 04 got a freekick which was hit by Frankl Finger. 41 minutes into the game, 1.FC Dynamo embri 04's Korbin Regli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Walthert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goal looked a bit too open when Korbin Regli came free, but Arnaldo Walthert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Hemmersbacher SV made a substitution. Oskar Brandenberger replaced Fréderic Brun. In the 51st minute, Korbin Regli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Hemmersbacher SV's Harvey Dresdner got a free kick in the 54th minute. Remo Nannarone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Brandenberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Korbin Regli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Walthert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hemmersbacher SV's Germain Zwyssig was substituted for Adalbero Bohren. Remo Nannarone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Saenger's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Wespi in the 67th minute of play forced Hemmersbacher SV's goalkeeper Arnaldo Walthert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 1.FC Dynamo embri 04 booed when Hemmersbacher SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Saenger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rory Restaino was slow to take the kick. During this time Hemmersbacher SV's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rory Restaino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1.FC Dynamo embri 04's Remo Nannarone did a great save. In the 79th match minute, Hemmersbacher SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Saenger to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Jim Rohner made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Walthert. Hemmersbacher SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 87th minute, Korbin Regli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnaldo Walthert. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 89th minute, Luigi Flory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remo Nannarone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Dresdner, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Luca Eichenberger hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 1.FC Dynamo embri 04's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
