Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clemens Albiez started the match with the kick off. Alwin Dubler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Scenna, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Aus Ende Vorbei's goalkeeper Friedel Aschwanden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raffaele Conti. Alwin Dubler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Wills in the 9th minute of the match. Jürgen Rondinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alwin Dubler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SL Benfica's zone, Damian Wills stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alwin Dubler came out of the goal and Damian Wills tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jürgen Rondinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Scenna took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alwin Dubler. Alwin Dubler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fergus Wolf hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Abraham Pfenniger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alwin Dubler skillfully saved the ball. Gordon Scenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alwin Dubler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Wills sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Rondinelli in the 27th minute of play forced SL Benfica's goalkeeper Alwin Dubler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jürgen Rondinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alwin Dubler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Wills in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes SL Benfica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Pfenniger who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Aus Ende Vorbei's corner Abraham Pfenniger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alwin Dubler quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Clemens Albiez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Aus Ende Vorbei's Domenico Verna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alwin Dubler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aus Ende Vorbei's Jürgen Rondinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gordon Scenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Damian Wills made the kick off in the second half. Gordon Scenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alwin Dubler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Haroun Flückiger fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SL Benfica's protests and gave Haroun Flückiger a yellow card for diving instead. Alwin Dubler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Wills went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Gordon Scenna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alwin Dubler having to interfere. After some careless play in the SL Benfica defense, Jürgen Rondinelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alwin Dubler. The SL Benfica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alwin Dubler should have stopped the shot. Alwin Dubler made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gordon Scenna sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Jürgen Rondinelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alwin Dubler. SL Benfica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jürgen Rondinelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Damian Wills recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alwin Dubler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jürgen Rondinelli in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Jürgen Rondinelli lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Alwin Dubler. 79 minutes into the game, Aus Ende Vorbei's Damian Wills nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alwin Dubler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. A collision led to SL Benfica getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jeremias Gräf hit a great ball. Aus Ende Vorbei's Abraham Pfenniger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SL Benfica. Damian Wills was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Aus Ende Vorbei's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alwin Dubler was a little too slow when Gordon Scenna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 95th minute, Jürgen Rondinelli had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Gräf during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SL Benfica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Aus Ende Vorbei played a much better game than SL Benfica and deserved their victory. The SL Benfica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
