In the 12th minute, Harry Bähr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flemming Cavegn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gucci United's Flemming Cavegn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Miani in the 16th minute of play. Flemming Cavegn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Serenus Kaiser sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the game, Sebastien Krause was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Tuggen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gucci United the free kick. A collision led to Fc Tuggen getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sebastien Krause hit a great ball. Harry Bähr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flemming Cavegn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Gucci United's Flemming Cavegn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Bähr in the 26th minute of play. Fidelis Greub took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Hjälm. Fc Tuggen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Harry Bähr hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Richard Hjälm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Aldescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Fc Tuggen's Leonhard Verreau was substituted for Sebastien Krause. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graciano Widenmeier during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Gucci United got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Widenmeier. In the 55th minute of the match Octavius Bonenfant shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flemming Cavegn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Per Langelier kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Renato Aeberli hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Harry Bähr made a precise shot to the right of Flemming Cavegn. Gucci United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Harry Bähr might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flemming Cavegn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Bähr ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Gucci United's goal looked a bit too open when Fred-Marc Winiger came free, but Flemming Cavegn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Harry Bähr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flemming Cavegn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Bähr in the 86th minute of play. Gucci United's Andre Despland got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flemming Cavegn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Miani in the 93rd minute of the match. When Per Langelier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. Per Langelier kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Fc Tuggen were the better team. Fc Tuggen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
