Santiago Cañizares made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when 赵桑适 sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Cañizares made an important save on a dangerous shot by 赵桑适 in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice moves 赵桑适 could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Santiago Cañizares however easily saved by the left post. Sylvain Witschard came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by SIRI United's Robin Bossert. But to his dismay, Robin Bossert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute of the match, Lukas Christen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Cañizares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when 赵桑适 got free with Santiago Cañizares in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Sprecher in the 43rd minute of play forced SIRI United's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, FC Totenteich's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Bossert came free, but Sylvain Witschard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ricardo Haag made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Andermatt, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sascha Bucciarelli hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sylvain Witschard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Bossert in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to SIRI United getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Graciano Lindenmann hit a great ball. SIRI United's Santiago Cañizares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Sprecher in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Sylvain Witschard managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when SIRI United's Ricardo Haag fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santiago Cañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germain Arnold in the 66th minute of play. Robin Bossert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sylvain Witschard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Totenteich's Eugene Feiss was substituted for Axel Deschenes. FC Totenteich's Philippe Stocker was substituted for Dario Sprecher. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 赵桑适 in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Totenteich booed when SIRI United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Lindenmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Earvin Gilli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Cañizares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lukas Christen might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Cañizares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Christen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Ricardo Haag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SIRI United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 85 minutes into the match, SIRI United's goal looked a bit too open when 赵桑适 came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Totenteich's Earvin Gilli got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Ricardo Haag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, SIRI United's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe Stocker came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although FC Totenteich had been in control for most of the match, SIRI United still came away with the win.
