The Fire Devils fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Odysseus Lindenmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Bähr, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. 78 minutes into the game, Edmílson Gaúcho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Richard Hjälm. Edmílson Gaúcho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. In the 81st minute, Sven-Arne Bengtsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Hjälm. The goal made the score 1-8. Edmílson Gaúcho in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Richard Hjälm, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th minute, Patrik Doležel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fc Tuggen's Richard Hjälm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Gaúcho in the 86th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Gaúcho. The Fc Tuggen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fire Devils were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
