Harry Bähr struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Santiago Cañizares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Tuggen. Pastor Jago kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Serenus Kaiser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Ricardo Haag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Hjälm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Massimo Poulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Richard Hjälm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Hjälm made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ricardo Haag sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the game, Ricardo Haag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Richard Hjälm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Haag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Fc Tuggen were awarded a corner. Octavius Bonenfant went to the cornerflag to take it. Urban Fankhauser kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Fc Tuggen getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hans Haas hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Massimo Poulin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Hjälm. That made the score 4-0 in the 46 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Harry Bähr made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Cañizares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Bähr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerold Thoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Hjälm having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Marin Ackeret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ronny Miani fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Tuggen's protests and gave Ronny Miani a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fc Tuggen's Ronny Miani got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Bähr, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The SIRI United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massimo Poulin in the 83rd minute of play forced Fc Tuggen's goalkeeper Richard Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Hjälm came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SIRI United's Ricardo Haag. But to his dismay, Ricardo Haag quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Ricardo Haag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Suret during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SIRI United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Fc Tuggen's Patrik Doležel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Santiago Cañizares. Richard Hjälm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Haag's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Robin Bossert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SIRI United's Massimo Poulin got a free kick in the 99th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fc Tuggen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SIRI United.
