FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frasier Huber in the 7th minute of play. If Othello Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frasier Huber in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jiang Shu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Othello Simon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Frasier Huber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jiang Shu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frasier Huber in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jiang Shu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jiang Shu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frasier Huber in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Silvain Grootaerts came free, but Bunda Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Cearense in the 36th minute of play. When Gil Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the FC BAYBURT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Cearense couldn't finish the play. The SalentoUnited fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jiang Shu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasier Huber in the 47th minute of play.

SalentoUnited made a substitution. Boris Walpert replaced Urbano Hotz. SalentoUnited's John Helgason was substituted for Alexis Veterini. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frasier Huber was the one to do the kick off. Jiang Shu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frasier Huber in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Silvain Grootaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BAYBURT's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvain Grootaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bunda Grande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Octavius Gräf came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SalentoUnited fans jumped to their feet. Bunda Grande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Silvain Grootaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu got control of the ball when Octavius Gräf tried to sneak it across the goal line. SalentoUnited's attentive Fox Aiello managed to snatch the ball when Stanislav Rusz made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, FC BAYBURT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Rusz to maneuver through the defense.
