The corner ended in Sven-Arne Bengtsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler did a great save. Fire Devils's Yuri Vilaverde was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beat Leutwyler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Olaf Geiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Lizbeth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Vornic kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, B68 Toftir's Beat Leutwyler got control of the ball when Zlatko Ibrahimović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 21st minute of play. Zlatko Ibrahimović took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beat Leutwyler. Beat Leutwyler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Olaf Geiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Olaf Geiger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 minutes of play, B68 Toftir's Lázaro Lizbeth made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Geiger was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Lázaro Lizbeth notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger. Olaf Geiger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho was substituted for Zlatko Ibrahimović. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmílson Gaúcho made a kick off. Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Fire Devils from getting a goal against them. Timmie Nyemanting took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olaf Geiger. Olaf Geiger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After 58 minutes of play, B68 Toftir's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Geiger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Olaf Geiger made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The B68 Toftir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. Ruben Dias got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arkādijs Žurka. Olaf Geiger didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 2-8. Beat Leutwyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia got free with Olaf Geiger in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goalkeeper Olaf Geiger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Goi. In the 85th minute, Bengt-Arne Blomberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The B68 Toftir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-9. Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Lizbeth in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Andermatt to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Gaúcho in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beat Leutwyler saved B68 Toftir from getting behind. B68 Toftir's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
