Seating: 2450, VIP seats: 217) LavAzzA were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Brütten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amerigo Labarra took the corner. In the 6th minute of the match, Alberto Hofstetter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iwan Lepucki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Brütten's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Yan Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Lepucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Zbytniewski in the 11th minute of play. Augustin Heinzmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Iwan Lepucki made a huge save. Iwan Lepucki made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Clint Paly sent off a good shot on target. If Gaudencio Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yan Fossati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Paly in the 20th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Fossati made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gaudencio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Zbytniewski. Yan Fossati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, LavAzzA's Amerigo Labarra got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Paly in the 40th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Hofstetter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Iwan Lepucki made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 47th minute of play forced Brütten's goalkeeper Yan Fossati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brütten's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amerigo Labarra was slow to take the kick. During this time LavAzzA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led LavAzzA's Kuno Kubin to fire away a dangerous shot which Yan Fossati despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half LavAzzA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Edward Zbytniewski made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi made a precise shot to the right of Yan Fossati. Brütten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Alberto Hofstetter hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Gaudencio Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LavAzzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Lekubegi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brütten's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gaudencio Lekubegi 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. After 68 played minutes LavAzzA got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Labarra. Yan Fossati didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. In the 75th minute, Augustin Heinzmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brütten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Zbytniewski in the 80th minute of play. If Gaudencio Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LavAzzA made a substitution. Gauthier Spiller replaced Amerigo Labarra. LavAzzA's Mai Di Chao was substituted for Adam Vase. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LavAzzA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
